Using a variety of techniques and methods, a coach will wokr with you through warm-ups, stretching, and custom workouts. Depending on your goals you can expect to experience high-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the core, and the upper & lower body. Additionally, athletes will work to improve cardiovascular stamina, core strength, & flexibility.
The Elements program at CrossFit Tradewinds is designed to teach new members how to move safely and efficiently in order to ensure success. New athletes learn the fundamental movements universally experienced in CrossFit while being introduced to the varying degrees of intensity commonly seen in a CrossFit WOD (Workout Of the Day.) The program runs in a 4 class schedule, with the option to combine classes on the weekends. Athletes new to CrossFit are required to complete this program before attending regularly scheduled CrossFit classes.

In just 15 secs we'll run a comprehensive measurement and breakdown of your muscle-to-fat analysis. A report will highlight your muscle & fat in both pounds & percentages. Additionally it shows the actual breakdown in each limb & trunk, highlighting any potential imbalances in your body, while also comparing you to the average person with the same gender & height. Lastly, the report will give you a specific recommended goal on whether you should lose or gain muscle and lose or gain fat to bring you into the recommended range. A session is approximately 15 minutes and will include a physical report and analysis of the report.
Each series of programs is designed to help improve your aerobic capacity, which is how conditioned the heart and lungs are at delivering oxygen to your muscles for recovery while exercising. The more conditioned that this pathway is, the more efficient the body gets at supplying oxygen to your muscles during long workouts. The program is designed to improve this system so you are able to get more out of each of your workouts.
