What is CrossFit?

CrossFit programming concentrates on constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity to achieve overall physical fitness, so people of all ages, skill levels, body sizes, job fields, etc. are prepared for any physical challenge. Going to the gym day in and day out and doing the same thing over and over again eventually leads to non-functional, lackluster workouts and endless plateaus where you struggle to achieve your goals. CrossFit offers the best solution to this problem. “Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand. Pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc., hard and fast. Five or six days a week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.
